It’s supposed to be a productivity app, but we’re struggling to understand how the psychology behind the sarcasm, given the bots in the app speak in a weird slow drawl that doesn’t quite hit the derision mark. They sound borderline bored rather than sarcastic. Yet there’s something to be said for a set of bots that can read out other people’s social media posts and comments in withering clarity, adding strange new insights into the deeper meaning of said comments.

Sarcastic Samantha has a very simplistic design and comes with a choice of four snarky characters, each with their own accent and set of gibes. You can either voice your ideas and thoughts or type them in, then brace yourself for some roasting. You might actually find the taunts useful, perhaps to inspire you to think up better ideas, but if not, there’s definitely some entertainment value in the app.
