ALPHABET’S PROJECT WING DRONES GET READY TO DELIVER YOUR NEXT MEXICAN MEAL AND CARRY MEDICATION IN CASE OF INDIGESTION

-

Google’s parent company Alphabet has taken its Australian drone delivery trials a mouthwatering step further. The team behind Project Wing has partnered with Mexican food chain Guzman y Gomez and with Chemist Warehouse to deliver meals and meds via drones right to some testers’ backyards in the bush in south-eastern Australia. The drones can reportedly fly at 120km/h and switch to vertical flight to travel long distances. However, there’s no word yet on when the trial will extend to the cities, but we sure are looking forward to having our next burrito land right at our doorstep.
