AN EXTREMELY COMPACT CHARGER.

NO ONE WANTS to carry any extra weight, and the little Jaycar charger measures in at just 32 x 34 x 37mm. By itself, it has fold-out prongs for use in USA sockets, as well as separate UK, European and Australian clip-on plugs. The diminutive adapter doesn’t worry about a mains socket, and just focuses on USB. The dual ports can output 2.4A for fast charging, but it is shared, so not ideal for charging two tablets.

In testing, the charger happily outputted the full 12W and has no issues juicing up our test devices. Swapping between the different countries plugs is very easy, and the small size means it can plug into even the tightest of sockets. The Jaycar charger also includes a carry pouch that can be used to keep all the parts together.

Considering the affordable $25 price, the unit is ideal for those who want something to throw in carryon luggage, but don’t need to charge too many devices at once.
