US PUBLICLY BLAMES NORTH KOREA FOR THE WANNACRY RANSOMWARE ATTACK

BASED ON EVIDENCE FROM UK, MICROSOFT AND MORE.

In May, 2017, RansomWare known as WannaCry spread across computers in over 150 countries, locking down hospitals and other major businesses. The US (by way of President Trump’s Homeland Security Advisor,Thomas Bossert) has now publicly declared North Korea as being responsible for the attacks in an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal. The claim “is based on evidence” and the findings are apparently supported by the UK, Microsoft, third-party cybersecurity experts and information from the victims themselves.
