Data from Sony Australia reveals that Australians have spent over 1 billion collective hours on their PlayStation devices in the last year. While 67% of Aussies apparently play videogames, this incredible sum of hours is also a result of streaming services like Netflix and Stan. Both have skyrocketed in popularity in the last year, evidenced by the 3.7 million Aussies that currently subscribe to video streaming services.
