50% AMOUNT OF THIRD-PARTY SELLERS ON AMAZON AUSTRALIA THAT ARE SHIPPING FROM CHINA

The recently launched Amazon Australia hosts around 20 million products (at the time of writing) offered by over 2,000 third-party sellers across the Marketplace. It turns out that just over half of these sellers list their shipping location as China. This is a combination of Chinese retailers and Australian sellers that have their warehouses located in China, but as the service gains traction Down Under, it will be interesting to see how this local/international supply balance changes.
