Lenovo Yoga 310
A MINI LAPTOP WITH A TWIST.
MEASURING IN AT just 11 inches, the Lenovo Yoga 310 is a portable 2-in-1 that can fold the screen back through 360°. It’s also quite affordable, and with a bit of shopping around, it can be picked up for under $400. It actually comes in two specs — the cheaper (as tested) packing an Intel Celeron N3350 dual-core CPU, 4GB of RAM and a 64GB eMMC SSD. It actually has plenty of grunt for document editing and web browsing, and the Pentium N4300 quad-core model with a 128GB SSD adds $200 to the sticker price.
The Yoga 310 has a responsive touchscreen, which looks quite sharp despite the 1,366 x 768 resolution. The keyboard and touchpad are solid if unremarkable, and the laptop is equipped with 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. It also has a USB 3.0 port (plus two USB 2.0), a microSD card slot, webcam and an HDMI output.
Battery life is a slightly disappointing 6 hours, 20 minutes. The laptop weighs 1.35kg, and measures in at 29.5 x 20.5 x 2.1cm.
