SodaStream’s limited-edition Sparkling Gold line makes you feel like Jesus. For those not already well acquainted with SodaStream, it’s a device that turns regular tap water into sparkling by pumping CO2 into a carbonated bottle. By adding a “fine alcoholic concentrate” to your sparkling water — at 1:5 parts concentrate to water — you can apparently create your own wine at 10% proof. It comes as no surprise that this is currently only available on SodaStream’s German website. However, if the idea of mix-your-own wine makes you feel a little sick to the stomach, the company claims that 76% of testers quite liked the taste.
