QUEENSLAND POLICE WILL USE VR TO LEARN HOW TO FIGHT TERRORISM

A 140-hectare Westgate complex in Wacol is being refurbishe­d for the use of Queensland Police to train for anti-terrorist events and other related emergencie­s. The plan currently involves the use of virtual reality headsets throughout the scenario village, which features such areas as a train station, pub, caravan park and shopping mall, as well as private houses.
