The US recently made it illegal for scalpers to use bots to buy event tickets and then sell them for inflated prices, so the automated buying armies have turned their attention to toys. They are believed to be behind the inflated price of Fingerling­s and the NES Classic Edition console, which are supposed to retail for US$15 and US$80, but have been seen at prices up to US$1,000 and US$13,000!
