30/30/30

-

The 30/30/30 hard reset is a process that should return your router to its factory condition — a common requirement before upgrading the firmware to an open-source firmware. The process goes thus: first (with the router power on), you press and hold the router’s reset button for 30 seconds (the reset button may be recessed and require a wire or pen to press); then, still holding the button, you turn off the power for 30 seconds; then (again, still holding the button) you turn it back on and wait 30 more seconds. There will be lights flashing for a while, then the router should be back in its factory state.
