IBM HAS MADE A COMPUTER THAT’S SMALLER THAN A GRAIN OF SALT
WILL ONLY COST A FEW CENTS TO PRODUCE
The tiny computer that IBM has designed bristles with several hundred thousand transistors and measures approximately 1mm2, and has the computing power of an x86 chip from back in 1990. The manufacturer is hoping that the chips will be used in anti-fraud measures, being inserted into physical products to ensure their authenticity via a verification process.
