CHANGE GOOGLE HOME’S ANNOYING ALARM TONE TO YOUR FAVOURITE SONG

WAKE ME UP BEFORE YOU GO-GO…

If you own a Google Home (or Home Mini) and use it as an alarm clock to wake you up in the morning, you’ll know that the sound is just terrible. Thankfully Google has recognised that we’re not all morning people and has enabled Assistant to change the default alarm tone to your favourite song, so you wake up feeling fresh, happy and ready to face the day. Simply say, “Hey Google, set a music alarm for <insert time> tomorrow that plays <insert favourite music or musician>.” If, however, you leave the command at “...set a music alarm”, Assistant will ask you the time and the piece of music you want. This ties in with the default music streaming service you have set up. As it’s a long command, don’t be alarmed if it takes a couple of tries for Assistant to get it right.
