REVERSE MOVIE FX

- [ SHAUN PRESCOTT ]

AN APP THAT WILL REVERSE YOUR MOVIES, AND DELIVER YOU ADS. Free | bizomobile.com/projects.html

As the name suggests, Reverse Movie FX will reverse movies, or if ‘movies’ is too grandiose a term for you, the videos of your kids you have stored on your phone. As soon as you open the app, you know what you’re in for: the screen is often hijacked by full page ads (with sound!) for useless tatt, and the user interface itself resembles shareware from the 1990s. But when it comes to reversing videos: it’s fine, it can do it. Every time you select a video to reverse, you’ll be delivered a video in a small window on the screen while it works its magic. The thing is, this features sound. And then when you’ve finished watching your video, you’ll be delivered another ad, which also features sound. There are a bunch of filters you can apply, (sepia, black and white, reverse colour and so on) and also a bunch you can apply via another third-party app. But sadly, Reverse Movie FX is just clunky and unusable given how heavily loaded it is with crap ads. It’s $3.49 to remove them but… it’s pretty easy to reverse movies, right? Don’t bother.
