APPLE OFFICIALLY BECOMES THE FIRST EVER TRILLION-DOLLAR BUSINESS

While Apple was hovering just beneath the historic 13-figure number since late July, it wasn’t until early in August when its stocks rose 2.7% to US$207.05 — the highest in company history — that it became official. Apple is the world’s first trillion-dollar business (US dollars, that is). Following up behind the Cupertino giant is Amazon on US$878 billion, Alphabet on US$854 billion and Microsoft on US$824 billion.
