According to an interview conducted by GameInformer, director Yohei Shimbori shed some light on the new designs for the game’s female cast. “For this version, we still have Kasumi with her previous costumes,” he said, “and there are some parts that are going to jiggle or move, but we want to make it a lot more natural.” The franchise has been criticised in the past for its emphasised breast physics, so this time around, Shimbori wanted to let the characters’ “strong personality” shine instead. However, he also wanted to make clear that, while they were toning down the sexiness, “for downloadable content, we have to see what gamers really want.”
