HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE OF LEGENDS AUSTRALIAN & NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP LAUNCHES
KIWI LEAGUE JUMPS ACROSS THE TASMAN.
The league has already gained a firm foothold in NZ, but now, thanks to a permit awarded by Riot Games, that competition is set to include teams from around Australia as well. The popular MOBA has already spawned multiple competitive esports tournaments around the world, and this latest league is set to kick off at the end of July and run through until September. The competition professes to promote resilience, cooperation and leadership skills, while also giving students the chance to form new friendships, all while playing computer games. Sounds perfect!
