Swann Wireless Pan and Tilt Camera

TechLife Australia - - THE WALL -

JUST SCRAPING IN under $150 (have a look on eBay if you can’t find it elsewhere for that price), the Swann camera is one of the more expensive options tested. It’s also one of the most advanced, with a higher than usual 1080p resolution. But the camera’s real party trick is the pan and tilt, which can operate through 355 degrees horizontally and 105 degrees vertically. It also has night vision, as well as the ability to handle two-way communications using an inbuilt speaker. To link into your network, the camera has dual band 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, as well as an Ethernet port. The camera is controlled via the comprehensive Swann AlwaysSafe app, and can record footage to an onboard SD card. It can also send alerts when movement or sound is detected, or record clips at specified times. You can also monitor it via a web browser and record video to a NAS. The camera comes with a hinged mount that makes it easy to place at the ideal vantage point.
