HISTORY SEARCH

-

YOUR ENTIRE BROWSING HISTORY IN ONE PLACE.

Web browsers store your search history, providing you with auto-fill options every time you start typing on the toolbar. However, you’re offered only a limited number of autofill options. To find something specific you’ll need something like History Search. This browser addon saves your search history, automatically indexing every single website you visit. So if you ever want to revisit something you saw yesterday, last year, or even a few years ago, but can’t remember where, you can find it again with just a keyword search. To use the plugin, however, you will need to set up an account — the free tier saves 3,000 of your most recent search history while a subscription of US$4 removes any limits. It’s a handy tool for anyone who needs to do any amount of research. Moreover, the data stored on History Search is encrypted, both while transferring to its cloud storage and when it’s stored there. While it’s an easy-to-use, self-explanatory interface, it’s a tad daunting to find there’s no easy way to delete your account if you’re not happy with the service. All you can do is remove your data and log out, or get in touch with the developer. It’s available for Chrome, Opera, Safari, Firefox and Edge..
