AI PREDICTED TO ADD US$5.8 TRILLION TO GLOBAL ECONOMY

Global management consultancy firm McKinsey and Company have released a report that estimates that AI will contribute between US$3.5 trillion and US$5.8 trillion dollars to the global economy annually, at some point. While the McKinsey Global Institute report didn’t develop a timeline for AI uptake, it did predict a 12% increase in annual revenues from AI’s influence on sales growth across 19 industries in over 400 use cases.
