Jabra Move on-ear.

POWERFUL AUDIO FOR THE PRICE, BUT NOT WITHOUT SACRIFICES.

-

WHILE THE JABRA Move are decent for budget on-ears, it doesn’t cost that much more to move considerably higher in the headphone realm. We were disappointed by the eight-hour battery life (compared with the Marshall Major III 30+ hours, for instance) and given their reduced weight, it’s a bit of a shame that they exert a touch too much pressure when hugging your skull. This is exacerbated by their rigid design, whether it’s the non-collapsibility, lack of rotation or stiff foam of the cups. The controls feel a little flaky and unsatisfying to operate and the use of neoprene on the headband taints an otherwise tidy aesthetic. The Move does have decent audio though, all things considered. Once you align the earcups in the sweet spot, the audio is rich and powerful with a bass-leaning focus. The Jabra Move are good for the price but for a little extra money, the Marshall Major III offer a more comfortable, compact and stylish package.
