From Styles, you can also add headings. Not only does this make your document easier to read, and look more profession­al, it also makes it easier to navigate. Select the text you want to turn into headings. Then, click References in the top menu and select ‘Table of Contents’. Select the style you want, and Word will make a table of contents using the headings you’ve created.
