Huawei’s P20 Android handset was found to be fudging its numbers in graphics benchmarking app 3DMark, leading to its results being delisted from the official site, along with Huawei’s P20 Pro, Nova 3, and Honor Play handsets. UL Benchmarks — the company responsible for 3DMark, PCMark and VRMark — found that Huawei had incorporated a hidden performance mode into its handsets, which only activated when the devices recognized the 3DMark app being run.
