CHROME EXTENSIONS WILL WORK ON MICROSOFT’S BRAND-NEW EDGE BROWSER

Once Microsoft’s new Chromium-based Edge browser becomes available, the tech giant has confirmed that it will support Google Chrome extensions. These add-ons bring extra features to the browser, but Edge had a very limited selection thanks to Chrome’s popularity. Developers began neglecting Edge by concentrating on creating Chrome plugins, thus encouraging users to switch to Google’s offering. That, however, could change, if Microsoft can perfect its new default browser.
