EPIC IS WORKING TOWARDS NORMALIZING FORTNITESTYLE CROSS-PLATFORM MULTIPLAYER

DEVELOPER RELEASING FREE SDK IN 2019. Epic Games, the developer behind the smash hit Fortnite, has announced that it will be rolling out its multi-platform architecture in a free SDK (Software Developer Kit) over the course of 2019. This will mean that developers of other titles will be able to utilize the same technology to give their online games cross-platform support, hopefully leading to more games sporting the feature in the weeks to come.
