DESPITE RECENT SECURITY CONTROVERSIES.
According to market research by Roy Morgan, Chinese manufacturers Huawei and Oppo have experienced far more growth in the smartphone market than the likes of Apple, despite recent concerns over security. The number of Huawei handsets owned by Aussies has almost doubled between 2016 to 2018, rising from 251,000 to 471,000 users. Similarly, Oppo has gone from not registering at all on the charts to having 368,000 Australian customers.
