Nvidia lends supercomputer to coronavirus research
GPU manufacturer Nvidia is lending its powerful SaturnV supercomputer to researchers who are hoping to find a cure or vaccine for COVID-19. While this computer is particularly powerful the company is also offering researchers time to use the company’s other 30 supercomputers, with a combined total of 400petaflops of processing power, in order to alleviate some of the computational power required for tasks like modeling or protein folding.
