We’ve seen a number of creative ways to signal to others that they’re not appropriately observing social distancing. The first that comes to mind is Twitter user Mindy Vincent, who bought a face mask with tiny penises on it, since anyone close enough to see the microphalluses and then comment indicates that they were within 1.5m. The Social Distancing Badge, on Kickstarter, is taking the job a little more seriously, using a tiny LIDAR sensor, an Arduino processor and a four-digit display, to show people in millimeters how close they are to you.
