I was big on the original Plant Nanny when I first started working in an office. It’s an app that helps you drink water by letting you grow aesthetically pleasing digital plants. I haven’t had to touch it for a while because it genuinely helped me instill the habit of drinking enough water, even when sitting at a desk all day. This new version is much the same and as such, I highly recommend it if you’re having trouble staying hydrated and don’t mind some cute aesthetics. As you drink, you record the amounts in cups of water with an easy and clean interface and you can watch your little plants grow. You can also change pots and buy new plants as you earn points. There are ads and potential in app purchases that come with all these freemium apps but you can ignore them pretty easily. It’s easy to use, a bit dumb, a lot cute, and surprisingly helpful at reminding you to drink enough water.
