GamePass is one of the best value game subscriptions you can currently get and it comes in a few different options. You can choose to get it exclusively for PC or the Xbox One line of consoles for around $10 a month. Add an extra five bucks and you get the Ultimate bundle, giving you both as well as Xbox Live Gold to play console games online and access cloud storage. There are even deals available where you can trial the service for as little as a dollar, and it’s seriously worth looking into, especially if you’re already paying for Xbox Live Gold.

Where this service really shines is the games on offer, and it really does feel like something more akin to the Netflix of games. Unlike PlayStation Plus there’s a seriously huge library of high quality games and it even includes some brand new ones. Furthermore all games released by Microsoft’s first party studios like Halo, Gears of War, and Ori are available the day they come out. Other notable games that were available on release include Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds and Rare’s Sea of Thieves. Things are removed and added every month so it’s good to keep an eye on it, but you’ll be hard pressed to find a library this good and this cheap on any other service.
