EA has two different offerings depending on whether people are looking for a subscription service for consoles or PC. Aside from the platform both services se em much the same on the basic tier. Both allow you to access games from the offered collection of EA titles, the ability to try some games at an earlier release date, and offer 10% discount on digital purchases. However, only Origin Access for PC has a premium tier costing $19.99 per month. It provides a much better library of games and other perks like the Battle Pass for Apex Legends (which is around $11 on its own). EA Access for consoles is also only good on either PS4 or Xbox per subscription.

This makes EA’s offerings a bit lackluster compared to some of the rest and probably not worth it unless you’re a big fan of their games. There are some great titles on the list like the Battlefield, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age series but newer games like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order are mostly regulated to Origin Access’s higher tier. For these services it’s definitely worth checking which games you’re interested in and whether or not they’re available for a price you’re happy to pay before signing up.
