HOW TO Use functions

SELECT A FUNCTION Select a cell and then select a function on the Formulas tab, such as SUM.

SELECT THE CELLS The SUM function requires numbers. Click and drag over the cells to sum.

DIY FUNCTIONS Click in a cell and enter = to indicate that you are building a formula.

BUILD THE FORMULA Create the formula by clicking cells and inserting plus, minus and so on.
