STUBBORN EJECTION

If you’ve tried dragging the CD icon to the Bin, holding the eject button on the keyboard, and clicking the eject icon next to the disc’s name in the Finder window sidebar, launch Terminal and type “drutil tray open.” If that doesn’t work, restart your Mac while holding the left mouse button.
