Apple’s designers make a bit of a booboo in over-ear headphone case design.

At the end of 2020 Apple released the AirPods Max, a definitively un-pod-like set of over ear wireless headphones that inherited some strange design choices alongside its nonsensical name. Lockdown clearly generated an abundance of sexual frustration for the Apple designers responsible for the AirPods Max case, since the entire internet agreed that the final headphone package looks suspiciously like a bra. At least following the reveal of this design tits-up, we understand why Apple decided to pivot from the original plan of calling them AirCans. We also have to wonder if Apple took pricing info from the same source since at $900 a pop, they cost about the same as a new pair of knockers.
