Upgrade your iCloud storage
When iCloud was first introduced, the 5GB standard storage plan was fine, but since then our demands for virtual storage space have increased. Here’s how to supersize your storage plan.
1 Open your settings
Open System Preferences and click on Apple ID followed by the ‘Manage’ button at the bottom. You should see the ‘Buy More Storage’ or ‘Change Storage Plan’ options.
2 Choose a plan
You will now see alternative storage plans. Click on the plan you would like to upgrade to and it will come into effect as soon as you agree to the new price plan.
3 Downgrade account
If you have already upgraded your storage plan but don’t need all of the space, click on ‘Downgrade Options’ and see if any lesser plans meet your needs.
