Do more with Mail

-

You can do more in Mail at icloud.com than on your iPhone, like applying rules. Rules let you apply criteria to all incoming emails across all of your devices, filtering emails that meet a certain criteria into a separate subfolder, for example.

1

Access options

Go to icloud.com, log into your account and then click on ‘Mail’. Next, click on the cog icon to the lower-left corner and choose the ‘Rules’ option from the menu.

3

Set criteria

Click on the menu under ‘If a message’ and choose from the options. Next, under ‘Then’, choose ‘Move to Folder’ and then select the folder you wish to move it to.

2

Add new rule

When in the Rules tab, click on ‘Add a Rule’ and then create a new rule. You will be able to set rule criteria from the menu of options available.

4

Finish up

You can create a new folder from the menu, so do so and then name it something appropriate. Click ‘Done’ and the new folder will appear in the sidebar.

5

Sync it all

The new folder will be instantly synced to iCloud and will appear in the Mail app of all of your connected devices. Scroll down through the Mailboxes to the ‘iCloud’ one to find it.
