Manage your iOS iCloud

You can manage your iCloud storage space on iOS by going to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud. Here are some useful tips to help you save some space.

-

1

Disable apps

On the main iCloud settings screen, all of the apps that use iCloud will be listed. Make sure only the ones that you wish to sync data for are enabled.

3

Deleting files

Bulk-delete files by tapping options respective to the app, such as ‘Delete Documents & Data’, or scroll down to view individual files and swipe left to delete.

5

Reduce backups

While on the Backups page, tap on your device and scroll down to see what is included in the backup. Turn off any apps you don’t need to reduce the backup size.

2

Manage data

Tap on ‘Manage Storage’ and you’ll be able to see how your storage is being used by the various apps. Tap on an app to clear out any data that you don’t need.

4

Delete old backups

In ‘Manage Storage’, tap on ‘Backups’ and see if there are any old, unwanted backups taking up space. If there is one, tap on it and then tap ‘Delete Backup’.

6

Change plan

If you are struggling to keep within the standard 5GB of storage then go to iCloud > Manage Storage and tap on the ‘Change Storage Plan’ option to upgrade.
