GPT-3 currently writes 4.5 billion words of new content per day

As good as GPT-3 is I can’t see it replacing us meat-based writers just yet… but it certainly could simply eclipse all human writers by producing way more content every day. OpenAI’s current large language model is good enough to beat the average student at university essays and the company announced that it is currently used by over 300 apps to produce around 4.5 billion words each day.
