Chips for Apple: the supply chain

-

APPLE IS INCREASINGLY TRYING TO USE ITS OWN CHIPS, BUT THIS PROCESS IS BY NO MEANS COMPLETE. As said, even its ‘own’ chips still need to be manufactured by someone else. Looking through Apple’s supplier list, various key names that we know are involved in the semiconductor manufacturing process stand out:

> Broadcom

> Intel

> NXP Semi-condcutors

> ON Semiconductor

> Qualcomm

> Samsung

> TSMC

These companies need to work through the backlog to help Apple get back to pre-pandemic supply.
