Chinese and Europeans happy to ceed leadership to AI
A study of 2,769 people from 11 countries done by the IE University Center for the Governance of Change found that the majority of respondents in both Europe and China wanted parliamentary representatives to be replaced by AI software. While ‘the-AIs’ only secured a majority margin of one percent in Europe, that’s all you really need. Chinese respondents however, seemed less divided on their preference for AI to replace current heads of state, with 75 percent preferring a swap to computer based overlords… I mean leadership.
