How to Create a shared photo album

1 CREATE THE ALBUM In the sidebar in Photos, hover over Shared Albums and click the “+” next to it. Give the album a title and type the names – if they are in your Contacts – or email addresses of people you want to share with. Click Create.

4 ADD PHOTOS Choose a photo in Photos library and press the Share button in the toolbar. Choose Shared Album then pick the album you want to share the photo to. To add photos from within a shared album, select “Add photos and videos.”

2 INVITE MORE PEOPLE To invite more people after creating an album, choose the album under Shared Albums and click the People icon in the toolbar. Click “+” next to Invite People and type the name or email address of the people you want to invite.

ALLOW OTHERS TO SHARE If you want to allow those you have shared the album with to share their pics, go to the album and press the People button. Check “Subscribers can post.” You can only do this in albums you created, not those shared with you.

3 SHARED ALBUM WEB PAGE VIf you want to share an album with people not on iCloud, create a web page. Click the people tab in the album view and choose Public Website. This creates a link on icloud.com that anyone can use when you share it with them.

6 DELETE ALBUM PHOTOS In the album, choose any photo, whether you added it or not – if you created the album you can delete any photo. Press the delete key. If the photo is one you added, it will remain in your Photos library.
