Creating a composite

After dropping in our cut-out tree, the rest of the technique is about making the tree look like it belongs in the scene. We used the Brush Tool to blur the edges where the tree met the rocks, creating a seamless blend of the two. Next we copied the reflection of the tree on the left side of the frame, then masked and warped it to fit with the newly added tree. Finally, we added a tonal effect using the Camera Raw filter to unify the colours and tones.
