If you follow the logic of the Korean designer Min Woo Kim, then Covid lockdowns mean parties at home are happening more frequently, and the best way to express the significance of an event is by branding the food. While we can’t say we’ve ever turned up to a house party with a plate of plain toast, the Hoaster means you now can do just this with pieces of toast that say whatever you want. All you need to do is design and laser cut a piece of metal to slot into the toaster, with whatever you want to say on your toast. How easy is that!
