Veritone Marvel.ai wants to steal your voice and sell it

While the company is pitched at celebrities that don’t actually want to become voice actors to allow them to sell their voice, the thought that Marvel.ai maintains the rights to a person’s audio doppelganger at all times is a little irksome. The company also offers its services to voice actors that want to scale up their business, which seems great until you realise that it’ll make imitation deepfakes harder to discredit.
