My Tamagotchi Forever

About 30,000 years ago (in youth years) in 1999, Bandai launched the Tamagotchi, a digital virtual pet on a keychain that you could hatch from an egg and raise into a fully-grown creature. They proved more distracting than an actual pet and, in Japan at least, creches were established to care for these things while the owners were at work, doing adult jobs. Well now they’re back. In this cute app, the Tamagotchis are significantly more advanced than how we remember them. They inhabit a town, can do more things and are a lot more fun to have around. Just don’t allow the notifications or they’ll be bothering you all day long.
