VR shopping centre company receives US$7 million for R&D. byondxr.com eCommerce has taken off since the global lockdowns began and with Facebook touting the arrival of the Metaverse in the near future it makes sense that XR shopping platforms should be developing rapidly. BeyondXR is a new platform that allows companies to provide web-based showrooms of their items or even integrate AR to allow customers to try on/test out products before they purchase. The Israli platform just received US$7 million in funding from a Seed round to expand research and development.
