Someone at Universal Pictures decided the Candyman horror franchise wasn’t scary enough on its own and commissioned an online AR experience that would put the Candyman in your webcam or smartphone camera when you said the magic words. If you follow the legend, saying ‘Candyman’ 5 times in front of a mirror will summon the supernatural killer to appear behind you and kill you very, very dead. We guess Candyman 2.0 got a bit more web savvy since the original 1992 film.
