AR contact lens prototypes to emerge his year

The concept AR contact lens prototype called Mojo Vision, which we covered in TechLife issue 100, is expected to release a full-featured prototype by the end of the year. The full future tech has overcome a number of hurdles to insert a 0.5mm hexagonal display into the lens and a ring of electronics around the edge. Mojo CTO Mike Wiemer said at the Hot Chips processor conference that the device is “almost working” and prototypes have already passed toxicology tests.
