EHang, the company that’s making flying personal aircraft using oversized drone propellers, has started testing the product in Hong Kong’s urban environment. The company is using a low altitude charter helicopter company to check the units usability for transport, freight, and emergency response services. The company has already released videos of successful manned test flights of the EHang 216 autonomous aerial vehicle, so the urban flights are primarily designed to map out flight paths and test the efficiency of the autonomous transport vehicles.
