Mossad uses AI sniper to kill Irainan scientist
AI software allows sniper to kill target from thousands of miles away.
The New York Times, in September, detailed a plot by Israel’s secret service to kill Mohsen Fakhrizadeh for heading up Iran’s efforts to build a nuclear weapon. While Fakhrizadeh had been a target for over 14 years, Mossad was only able to execute him in 2020 because of a new AI-driven sniper system. An FN MAG machine gun mounted to a remote controlled arm used AI software to compensate for the 1.6 second lag seen by the sniper over the satellite connection.
